The location was great. It is just a short walk in to the old town of Ostuni. I stayed there for 8 nights as I also did a 5 day tour with a local guide and I used this hotel as my base. The room was nice and spacious and I had a view looking towards the old town which was lovely, especially at night when it was all lit up. The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace/restaurant which had very nice meals and the staff there are fabulous. The breakfast was also good with a nice variety of hot & cold foods. Travelling solo, I felt very safe walking in to the town in the day and also at night where there are many restaurants and shops. All the staff at the hotel were so welcoming, friendly & helpful.

We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Monte Sarago. We actually ended up staying in the self-catering villas (part of the hotel company that must be booked separately). We had originally booked the hotel because we thought there was a pool so that staff at reception kindly upgraded us to the villas. We stayed for 10 days in Ostuni. The hotel and villas are located just a short walk from the centre and so they are also very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day which was ideal for us. The pool was a welcome bonus during the heat of summer. It was overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend the villas for a longer stay and the hotel for a shorter stay. Lots of beaches in the area that must be reached by car. And the supermarket was also just a short drive away. We also didnt have any issue with mosquitoes because the villas all had nets in the windows which was a huge plus for me! I also particularly loved the rooftop terrace bar with delicious cocktails and drinks in the evening to watch the sunset. Lastly, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

The hotel was way above our expectations. Spotlessly clean. Superb design internal and external. Lovely spa. Great breakfast. Updated and convenient plug-ins for electronic equipment. A rare exception where you can checkout at 11 and not 10 and checkin at 13:00 I believe. Parking very convenient across the road in an olive tree plantation where one can leave their car in the shade of an olive tree. Very cool literally. We had a lovely view of the sea. The entrance from the street is very unpretentious which just increases the pleasant surprise once you are inside.

Lovely clean hotel that was only a short stroll into the old city of Ostuni, and had easy access to head off to other nearby towns. We walked into the old town most nights for dinner so a great location. Excellent roof top bar and restaurant that overlooks the old town. Our room also had a balcony that overlooked the Old Town so we enjoyed having this extra space to relax with a few drinks. Convenient large secure car park opposite the hotel which was free for guests to use. We made use of the day spa which included massage pools, saunas, cold and hot jets and relaxing lounges all in a private setting. Breakfast was very good. Assistance from the check in staff was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The restaurant had a decent menu with all items priced reasonably. The food was exceptional presented and tasted brilliant. The wine list provided a full range of Puglia wines which were well priced. The breakfast provided a good range of continental food choices.

An attractive modern hotel with excellent free secure parking just across the road (20 metres away ). Nice modern rooms (ours had a large terrace with good views of the old city). Attractive top floor restaurant and bar. We had bar food and it was not expensive and very tasty. The breakfast was an excellent buffet. Pleasant 10 minute walk into old town.

Our room was large and very clean, all perfect. Liked the roof terrace and bar area Staff were all very good, particularly the reception staff who were excellent.

Super nice panoramic view and parking! Huge plus! Breakfast was amazing, coffee of good quality. Amenities in the room would be lovely as we stayed just one night and did not wanted to carry ours in the room. Nice terrace and balcony. Close to center where all the fun is. I enjoyed the stay there. Comfortable big bed.

The reception staff were excellent so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Our room was perfect with a lovely view of the City and coast.

location: easy ride from station with the local shuttle and 10 minutes ride to centre. cleanliness : nice crisp bed linen and room breakfast : very nice all what you need to start your day( too many croissants) the view from the restaurant
